There are more verses in Scripture about giving, money and possessions than about faith, love and prayer combined. Here are some samples from the teaching of Jesus:
"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moth and rust do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."
"Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
"Sell your possessions and give to the poor. Provide purses for yourselves that will not wear out, a treasure in heaven that will not be exhausted, where no thief comes near and no moth destroys."

Thank you for your interest in Forest Park's stewardship and estate planning. It is my hope that the information provided here might be a practical tool for ministry in your life.
We are told that a staggering 70% of Americans do not have a current will. The ramifications of this on children, surviving spouses, on taxes and fees is immeasurable.
I think there are many reasons for this. Fear of dying, procrastination, confusion about the estate planning process, the cost of creating a will and more.
We, at Forest Park, want to provide some "layman friendly" estate planning information that can enable you to protect your family and be a wise steward of what God has entrusted you with.
So, grab a cup of coffee or tea, sit back and browse around. If you just want to get down to business, you can click on the Estate Plan Organizer (EPO) on any page and walk yourself through a tutorial/data-gathering process. At the end, you can print it at home or ask for help. All of the information you log in is confidential. The EPO does not ask for social security numbers or bank account numbers. No one will see your entries unless you submit at the end and ask for help.
In that case, one of our partners at PhilanthroCorp (a Christ-centered estate planning firm) will be in touch to serve you in any way they can.
So, be blessed and make yourself at home.
